I began tutoring
during my high school years for junior high students struggling
at that time with science and algebra. After I graduated
from graduate school,became a private tutor for elementary
children. I find that I work best with children between
the ages of 6-12 who have moderate to light learning challenges
and subject matters math reading, and science tutoring
is what I taught most of the time. Most of my tutoring
is one-on-one,usually using my home as the classroom or
a designated quiet, safe place such as a libary. I have
taught children from 6-17 as well as adults for GED exams;
and enjoy the various journeys from struggling to exceeding
in every students life. |
