I am an enthusiastic person who
believes that all students can learn. My strenths lie
in the fact that I am very patient, encouraging, and optimistic.
It is my goal to inspire children to believe that they
can achieve great success. In the past, I have had a the
privilege of working with students in multiple and varied
contexts. I tutored a 10th grade student in English, biology,
and Spanish. I also tutored a 10th grade student in algebra.
I just recently graduated (12/18/04) with a B.S. degree
in Inclusive Childhood Education 1-6 from Roberts Wesleyan
College that required me to spend 150 observational hours
within various urband and suburban elementary school classrooms
in the city of Rochester. During that time, I worked individually
with students acting as an informal tutor to strengthen
their academic skills. |
