I work 20 hours
a week as a tutor, giving personalized instruction to
12-16 year olds in their homes. The kids I work with have
a range of abilities, but I am especially skilled with
kids with emotional and behavioral problems, so the majority
of kids I serve match that description. I tutor kids in
all major subject areas, and have a degree in English
and Fine Arts. I go with kids to IEP and 504 meetings
in the school and serve as the core subjects teacher for
three kids from two different districts. I have also tutored
independently and at the local community college, so I
have experience working with a range of ages and with
English Language Learners. I have tutored for at least
six years now and have served kids of all different ages,
as well as adults. |
